Schools becoming more prepared
The Village News

Frazier Elementary is the latest school to receive
and to be trained in the use of the Automatic External
Defibulator (AED). Originally, this program was implemented
by airlines. If a passenger had a heart attack while
in flight, his chance of survival was minimal. The
AED, along with CPR, greatly increases the chances
of survival. Cathy Fried of the North County Fire
Protection District has taken on the task of not only
training the Fallbrook Union School District but training
the Bonsall and Rainbow school districts as well.
This knowledge plays a significant part in ensuring
the safety of our children, teachers and visitors.
In addition, Cathy has trained a number of businesses
such as golf courses, churches, water districts, grocery
stores and the Grand Tradition. The readiness of the
community and the quick response by North County Fire
will provide better care for anyone in need! |
